The Psychology Undergraduate Student Careers Conference

The Psychology undergraduate student careers conference will be held on Thursday, October 19th 2017 in the Graham Center Ballrooms. The conference will deliver informative sessions throughout the day which will expose students to career resources, employment and internship opportunities. Students will acquire resume building knowledge, interviewing skills and will connect with potential employers who traditionally hire students from the psychology major. The conference will give students an understanding of what careers they can obtain once they have graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Students also have the opportunity to get involved in research being conducted at FIU by attending sessions that showcase internship opportunities offered by the Center for Children and Families. External internship opportunities also connect students with agencies that are seeking to hire students for behavioral services, case management services, and other career opportunities. Although the conference program involve a variety of topics throughout the day, the theme of the conference each year answers the question: “What can I do with a bachelor’s degree in psychology?” Click here for the conference program.
