The Academic Calendar serves as an information source and planning document for students, faculty, staff
anddepartments, as well as outside organizations. The calendar includes registration dates, class start dates, add/drop deadlines, exam dates and more. - Annual Evaluations
All Developmental Science Graduate students must complete an annual evaluation as a means of documenting academic, professional, and social progress toward their degree. These evaluations are completed by the student and their Major Professor from their first year through to the year they pass their qualifying exam; at that
pointthey become doctoral candidates. Upon reaching candidacy, students must then have the form signed by their Major Professor and all members of their dissertation committee. Click here to access the current FIU UGS Annual Evaluation Form.

- CASE Graduate Student Information
The College of Arts, Sciences & Education has the responsibility for approving all graduate paperwork associated with theses and dissertations. Our deadlines are one week in advance of those of the UGS. We ensure that students complete the formal paperwork correctly and complete the necessary training required by the UGS prior to advancing to candidacy. The College is also responsible for
generationof contracts and waivers to students supported with assistantships. Our goal is to provide reliable and rapid service to those involved with graduate education. Detailed information has been provided on the CASE graduate student website to ensure students move through the degree processes in a timely manner.
- University Graduate School Forms
The University Graduate School (UGS) has specific forms that current graduate students must become familiar with and will use throughout their graduate career. These include Dissertation Forms (D) and petition documents. Some of the forms listed on the page linked below can be completed electronically. Please be sure to save the form locally before closing.
